ORDINANCE N0. � / - � v <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 4240 WEST MAIN STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of May, 1991 ; upon due notice, the <br /> Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the <br /> petition of David A. Clark, Director of Community Development, to <br /> rezone premises described as: <br /> Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 40 of <br /> Fairground Home Sites Addition of Outlots to the City of <br /> Decatur, as per Plat recorded in Book 802 Page 112 of <br /> the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, <br /> Illinois running thence Northeast along the North right <br /> of way line of West Main Street 221 . 9 feet to the point <br /> of beginning; thence North on a line forming an angle of <br /> 84 degrees 33 ' 5" to the left with the said right of way <br /> line and running parallel to the East line of said <br /> Fairground Home Sites Addition 281 . 6 feet to a point, <br /> thence West 60 feet, thence South along a line parallel <br /> to the East line of said Fairground Home Sites Addition <br /> to a point on the North right of way line of West Main <br /> Street, said point being 60 feet West of the point of <br /> beginning, thence East 60 feet along the North right of <br /> way line of West Main Street to the point of beginning, , <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL � <br /> DISTRICT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that I'i <br /> the prayer of said petition be granted. II <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE I <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: � <br /> Section l. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file <br /> and approved. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are <br /> hereby, rezoned from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 <br /> LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. <br /> Section 3.
