EXCERPT <br /> CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, MAY 20 , 1991 <br /> On Monday, May 20 , 1991 , the City Council of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois , met in Regular Meeting at 7 :30 P. M. in the <br /> City Council Chambers , One Civic Center Plaza, Decatur, Illinois . <br /> Mayor Gary K. Anderson presided; together with him being Council- <br /> men Stephen F. John, William Mitchell , Kent N. Mittelberg, Wil- <br /> liam F. Oliver, and Randy L. Van Alstine . Councilman Shirley M. <br /> Moore was absent. Six members were present and one was absent. <br /> Mayor Anderson declared a quorum present. <br /> * * * * * <br /> This being the time and place set for a public hearing <br /> regarding the Decatur Memorial Hospital Bond Issue, Mayor Ander- <br /> son declared the hearing open and asked if anyone wished to be <br /> heard. Mr. Donald Gent, Administrator of the hospital , stated <br /> that he was available for any questions . When no one indicated <br /> they wished to be heard, Mayor Anderson declared the hearing <br /> closed. <br /> * * * * * <br /> Ordinance No. 91-32 , authorizing the execution and delivery <br /> of a Memorandum of Agreement, an Official Statement and a Bond <br /> Purchase Agreement pertaining to the issuance of the Hospital <br /> Facility Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 1991A (Decatur Memorial <br /> Hospital) and the Hospital Facility Revenue Bonds , Series 1991B <br /> (Decatur Memorial Hospital) of the City of Decatur, Macon County, <br /> Illinois, was presented. <br /> Councilman Oliver moved the ordinance do pass and be <br /> adopted; seconded by Councilman Mitchell , and on call of the <br /> roll, Councilmen John, Mitchell , Mittelberg, Oliver, Van Alstine <br /> and Mayor Anderson voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion <br /> carried. <br /> * * * * * <br /> There being no further business , Councilman Oliver moved the <br /> meeting be adjourned; seconded by Councilman Mittelberg, and on <br /> call of the roll, Councilmen John, Mitchell , Mittelberg, Oliver, ' <br /> Van Alstine and Mayor Anderson voted aye.
