. � ORDINANCE N0. �/' � ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT - LANDING STRIP - - 2112 BRUSH COLLEGE ROAD - BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: WHEREAS, on the 4th day of April, 1991 , upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Decatur Bottling Company for a special use permit under the provisions of Section XXI (A) (1) (a) �of the Zoning Ordinance to construct, operate and maintain a landing strip, or heliport, on premises located in the City of Decatur, Illinois, and described as follows: Lots 1, 2, 3 , 4 and the West 1/2 of Lot 5 of Industrial Park First Addition as per Plat recorded in Book 1575 ' Page 40 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon I County, Illinois; and, ' WHEREAS, said Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that ll such special use permit be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the report and recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same are hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2 . That upon the conditions hereinafter mentioned, a special use permit be, and it is hereby, granted to petitioner to construct, operate and maintain a landing strip, or "heliport" , for the use of helicopters on the above-described premises to be located substantially as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. Section 3 . That the special use permit authorized hereby be, and the same is hereby, authorized and issued upon the following conditions: (a) That use of the heliport be restricted to the petitioner in conjunction with its business operation; and, (b) That all required licenses be kept in force at all times the facility is in operation.
