The followinq numbered sections in said <br /> Code are hereby modified and amended as herein indicated: <br /> (a) M-110 . 6 by substitutinq the words "City Manager" in � : <br /> lieu of the words "code official" therein. <br /> (b) M-113. 1 by substitutinq the words "Section 9 of Chapter ;� <br /> 68 of the City Code" in lieu of "Section M-114.0" therein. <br /> (c) M-121.1 by adding the word "substantially" between the <br /> words "readinq" and "as". <br /> (d) M-1300. 1 by substituting a comma for the last period <br /> therein and by addinq after such comma "or self contained air <br /> conditioner units of a rated heat removal capacity of 20, 000 <br /> b. t.u. or less mounted in window openinq and so located that <br /> pedestrian traffic will not pass below the same". <br /> (e) Reference to BOCA National Plumbing Code in Appendix A <br /> chanqed to reference Illinois State Plumbinq Code, 1986, as <br /> amended. <br /> 8. PERMIT REQUIRED. It shall be unlawful to do mechani- <br /> cal work in the City unless and until permit for the same has <br /> been obtained when required by and issued in accordance with the <br /> provisions of the Buildinq Code. <br /> 9. FEES REQUIRED. The amount of the fee required to <br /> accompany the application for a permit and to be paid to the City <br /> Treasurer shall be determined by the building official as fol- <br /> lows: <br /> a.
