ORDINANCE N0. 9�'� � <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER <br /> - GOODMAR, INC. - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That the modification of the agreement <br /> heretofore approved by Resolution No. R90-65 between Goodmar, <br /> Inc. and the City of Decatur, said modification to provide for <br /> the construction of additional watermains in the Brettwood <br /> Heights Area, be, and the same is hereby, approved, said addi- <br /> tional watermains to be constructed as shown on Exhibit A at- <br /> tached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 2 . That the circumstances necessitating the change <br /> in performance of said agreement as specified in section 1 hereof <br /> were not within the contemplation of said agreement as signed and <br /> the requested change is in the best interest of the City of <br /> Decatur and is authorized by law. <br /> Section 3 . That the City Manager and Director of Public <br /> Works be, and they are hereby, authorized to direct Goodmar, Inc. ', <br /> Inc. , to perform the said agreement in accordance with the change �, <br /> authorized hereby and to further pay to Goodmar, Inc. the addi- I <br /> tional consideration of $48 , 000 , raising the total cost of said <br /> agreement as modified to the City to $907, 000 .
