' � � <br /> WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> For and in consideration of the undertakings and covenants set out <br /> herein, it is agreed by and betweea the Owner(s) of the premises descrfbed at <br /> paragraph 8 hereof, and which person or persons are signatory hereto, <br /> ('�OwIIer"), SIId TSE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, ("City"), as follows: <br /> 1. The provisions of this Agreement, and the installation, operation <br /> and use of the water service authorized hereby, are expresslq made subject to <br /> all applicable provisions of codes, ordinances, rules and regulations of City, <br /> and Owner agrees to camplp therewith. <br /> 2. After �ompletion of the construction of a water main by the City ia <br /> the street or roadway adjacent to the premises described herein, and upon <br /> obtaining a tapping permit in the customary manner followed by the Citq for <br /> premises within its corporate limits, Owaer may tap said water main of City <br /> and connect a water service thereto to furnish residential service only to <br /> said premises. <br /> 3. Said tap, co�ection and service shall be made and installed by a <br /> liceased plumber. <br /> 4. The water furaished by Citq shall only be used for domestic purposes <br /> and only upon the premises described herein. <br /> 5. l�t such t:me as said premises become contiguous to the corporate <br /> limits of City, the thea owner of said premises shall, within ninety (90) days <br /> after receiving notice from City thereof, petition to aanex the same to the <br /> City. <br /> 6. This Agreement shall terminate ugon the failure by Owner to complq <br /> with any provision hereof or with anq applicable provision of Cfty Code, <br /> ordinaaces, rules or regulations, or upon the annexation of said premises to <br /> the City, and may be texminated by eitr.er party upon six (6) months notice �y <br />
