� � , ORDINAIICE NO. �� ' l l � AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 3391 AND 3394 NORTH BRETT AVENUE - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petitions under oath of 3ryan D. Carter, and others requesting that there b� annexed to the City territory described as: Lot One (1) in Block One (1) and Lot One (1) in BI�c}: Two (2) of Hiqhlands Addition as per Plat recorded in Book 745 Page 217 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois. in7iIEREAS, it appears said petitions are signed by ihe owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of ar.� city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to tak� action for annexation • has been given as required. NO�,n1, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TNE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That said petitions and the requests the.reof b�, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2. Thaz said territory hereinabove described, al�ng with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, I�lincis, a municipal corporation.
