V -- / � � AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY -- ARBOR DRIVE - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Magna Millikin Bank of Decatur, N.A. , requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: Beginning at the southeast corner of �he southwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 , SQction 22, Township 17, Range North 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , thence west to a point said point being 399 .03 east of the southwest corr.er of said southwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4, Section 22, � thence north to a point in the south right-of-way Iine of U.S. Route I-72, sai3 point being 924 . 72 feet west of the east line of the said southwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of Section 22 , thence east on the south right-of-way line to the east line of said southwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4, Section 22, thence south the the place of beginning. WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contigucus to thP ^ity i and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or I incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexatiori has been given as required. NOW, THEREFOI�E, BE IT ORDAINEL�, BY THE CIiY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That said petit?on and tne rec�uest thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Secticn 2 .
