� � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. — '� ` <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 25 - <br /> - ELECTRICAL COMMISSION AND CONTRACTORS - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 10 of Chapter 25 of the City Code <br /> of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, <br /> modified and amended so that as so modified and amended said <br /> Section 10 of Chapter 25 provides as follows: <br /> 10 . CERTIFICATE - EXPIRATION AND REVOCATION. The <br /> El.ectrical Commission shall issue an appropriate <br /> certification evidencing the registration of such <br /> electrical contractor which registration shall be <br /> effective from January 1 of each year through December <br /> 31 of the same calendar year, and no person having been <br /> registered as an electrical contractor shall install, <br /> repair, alter or engage in the business of such <br /> electrical contractor after the expiration of his <br /> registration thereas or after such registration shall <br /> have been suspended or revoked as in this ordinance <br /> provided or shall the Inspection Division issue any <br /> permit authorizing work to be done by any contractor <br /> whose registration has expired or has beer. so <br /> terminated. <br /> Section 2. That the registrations of those electrical <br /> contractors which are due to expire on October 31 , 1990, be, and <br /> the same are hereby, extended and made effective through December <br /> 31, 1990 . <br /> Section 3 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to cause the provisions hereof to be <br /> appropriately set out in the City Code and to cause the same to <br /> be published in pamphlet form according to law. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVLD AN REC D ' s 15th day of <br /> October, 1990 . <br /> AFc K.
