Schroeder , Neighborhood Standards Administator <br /> DATE: October 9 , 1990 <br /> SIIBJECT: Amendment to Chapter 25 , Electrical Commission and <br /> Contractors <br /> Attached is a copy of a proposed amendment to Chapter 25 of <br /> the City Code which will change the effective dates of electrical <br /> contractor registration from November 1 of each year through Oc- <br /> tober of the calender year next following to January 1 of each <br /> year through December 31 of the same calendar year . The change <br /> is requested so that mass mailings and registrations can be per- <br /> formed during December and January of each year , a time when con- <br /> struction activity and electrical inspections are at their lowest <br /> levels . <br /> The amendment will also authorize the extension of their <br /> current year registration from October 31 until December 31 . <br />
