U � lP LJ <br /> �uN � � �sso <br /> k�t��"d�d in 600k 2�Page733 <br /> �-1�� �- o/ AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> l�':00 c`�i��/ - 3702 WESTLAWN AVENUE - <br /> Fee Recorder of peeds <br /> �....,........ <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under <br /> oath of the Macon County Farm Bureau requesting that there be <br /> annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> The South 3/4 of the North 1/2 of the Northwest Quarter <br /> of Section 33, Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the <br /> 3rd P.M. ; except the East 423. 50 feet thereof, except <br /> commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 12 of O'Dell <br /> Subdivision, as per Plat recorded in Book 745 Page 166 <br /> of the records in the Recorder' s Office of macon County, <br /> Illinois, thence North 170 feet, thence West 256 . 2 feet, <br /> thence South 170 feet, and thence East to the place of <br /> beginning; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of <br /> t:ie electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br />' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />, DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby, approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> , <br />
