� • .�� , � , . , I - � ORDINANCE NO. �--- , AN ORDINANCE ANNE�ING TERRITORY - WEST MCKINLEY STREET - �9H�REAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Joe Knott and others requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: Part of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.�I. , Macon County, Illinois, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 270 . 80 feet West of the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 3 , running thence West for 150 feet, thence North for 320 .40 feet, thence East for 150 feet, thence South for 320 . 40 feet to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and r.ot within the corporate limits ot any city, village or incorporate� town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, noti�e of intention to take action fc� annexation I� has been given as required. rTOW, THEREFOR�, BE IT I�RDAINED BY THE COUNC�L O^ THE CI'r`i rJF DEC�TUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2.
