c _ � - . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. / � —S O <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 66 - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Code of the City of Decatur be, <br /> and the same is hereby, modified and amended at Sections 4 (E) <br /> and 52 of Chapter 66 thereof by substituting the phrase "Director <br /> of Public Works" for the phrase "Director of the Water <br /> Department" wherever the latter phrase appears therein. <br /> Section 2. That said Code be, and the same is hereby, <br /> further modified and amended at Sections 15, 17, 19 , 20, 23, 25, <br /> 26 , 27, 28, 33, 37 and 48 of Chapter 66 thereof by substituting <br /> the phrase "Lake Manager" for the phrase "Chief of Police" <br /> wherever the latter phrase appears therein. <br /> Section 3 . That said Code be, and the same is hereby, <br /> further modified and amended at Chapter 66 thereof by adding <br /> Sections 54 and 55 thereto, said Sections 54 and 55 to provide as <br /> follows: <br /> 54. CITATIONS. <br /> A. Whenever a Lake Patrcl employee witnesses or <br /> has knowledge based on reasonable grounds of a violation <br /> by any person of any section of this Chapter, such <br /> person may be issued a citation for said violation by <br /> the Lake PatroZ employee. <br /> B. A citation issued hereunder shall be in writing <br /> and shall: <br /> 1 . State the name of the person being cited <br /> and said person' s address, if known; <br /> 2 . Set forth the specific section of this <br /> Cnapter that was violated, the date of the violation, <br /> and a brief description of the viol.ation; <br /> 3 . State the amount to be paid to the City <br /> due to such violation and where �nd when sucn payment <br /> may be made; <br /> 4 . State that on failure to pay the amount of <br /> the citation in the time allowed as herein provided, <br /> said person will be subject to prosection by the City; <br /> and, <br /> 5 . Be signed by the issuing Lake Patrol <br /> employee. <br />
