' <br /> ORDINANCE NO. � � - � �o <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 3029-3033 WEST MAIN STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 5th day of April, 1990, upon due notice, the <br /> Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the <br /> petition of John K. Collins to rezone premises described as: <br /> A part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the <br /> Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 17, T-16-N, R-2-E, <br /> of the 3rd P.M. , lying South of the Old Decatur to <br /> Springfield Hardroad (Old Route 36) more particularly <br /> described as beginning at the point of Intersection of <br /> the Southerly Right of Way line of the said Highway and <br /> the West line of the said NE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section <br /> 17, thence Northeasterly along the said Right of Way <br /> line, a distan�e of 128 .5 feet to a point, thence <br /> Southerly parallel to the West line of the NE 1/4 of the <br /> NW 1/4 of Sec. 17, a distance of 120 . 0 feet to a point, <br /> thence Southwesterly parallel to the said right of way <br /> line, a distance of 128.5 feet to a point on the said <br /> �est line of NE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec. 17 a distance of <br /> 120 . 0 feet South of the point of beginninq, thence North <br /> �o the point of beginning. <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-3 SINGLE FA,.�IL� <br /> RESIDENCE DISTRICT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Cemmissicn recommended that <br /> the prayer of said petition be granted. <br /> r.OW, THEREFORE, BE IT OR�AINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur Citv Plan <br /> Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file <br /> and approved. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are <br /> hereby, rezoned from R-1 SINGLE FAN!ILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-3 <br /> SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICi. <br />
