Brinkoetter and others requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 26, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , thence North 655 . 61 feet; thence West 132. 80 feet; thence South 488 .61 feet; thence East 120 . 00 feet; thence South 167 . 00 feet; thence East 12 . 80 feet to the point of beginning. AND The North 320 feet of the West Half of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 26 , T w i 16 North Ran e 2 East of the 3rd P.M. o nsh p , g AND The West 145 feet of the South 340 feet of the West 1/2, of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4, Section 26, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. ; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51$ of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved.
