(/ � �/ AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 651 , 657 AiVD 677 EAST DEVONSHIRE - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Michael L. Tanzyus and otners requesting that there be annexed to tne City territory described as: The East 75 feet ct the North 261. 6 feet of Lot Twenty-Three (23) , the North 261. 6 feet of Lot Ei�hteen i18) and the North One-Half (1/2) of Lot Nineteen, all in McCaleb Subdivision as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 130 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of thE electors residing therein, and that said te�ritory is contiguous to the City and not within tr.e corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexat;on h«s been givPn as required. � NOW, mHEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereor be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2. That said territor1 hereinabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and tne same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 3. That a plat af said a�nexed premises is atta�hed hereto and hereby made a paYt nereof.
