. ,' .
' _
, . , . . .
Page 2 = Petition tor Rezoning
The purpose of the proposed rezoning is: to allow for the constructio
of a new facilitv which will include administrative offices and
additional funeral service space.
In support of this request, petitioner hereby submits to the City P1
Commission and City Council the followiaq facts:
1. The growth of the business demands additional space, rather
than build on to the existing office building a new, separate
facility is being proposed.
2. Zoning of the property across the street to the East is B-2,
zoning for the existing facility to the North is B-2.
3. The Official Comprehensive Plan indicates a strip along the East
side of Oakland Avenue zoned general commercial from Harrison
Avenue to Grand Avenue.
4. The proposed use is similiar to the existing use and the location
of the new facility is most practical as the existing building
will remain and continue to be a part of the total operations
of the cemetery business. i,
G%r/
• (Siqn ture of Petitioner)
Phillip W.
