U / ' � � , AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 1301 SOUTH FAIRVIEW ROAD - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oa�h of Thomas J. Coady and Peggy A. Coady requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: One Hundred (100) feet in width off of the North side of the following described tract of Iand, to-wit: Beginning at the Southeast corner of tne Southwest Quarter (1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (1/4) of Section 21, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , thence running North along the 40 acre line 368 feet more or less to the South line of the land heretofore sold to the Wabash Railroad Co. , by deed recorded in Book 91 Page 41 0� the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, thence West to the right-of-wa�• of the Wabash Railroad, thence Southwesterly along said right-of-way to the halz section line, thence East to the place of beginning. WHEF.EAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limi`s of any city, village or incorporated town �r other municipality; and, WHEREAS, netice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. 1VOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, T_LLINOIS: Section l . That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved.
