State of�Ill�inpis SS I Hereby I <br /> Maton CpuRky Certify � <br /> That Th�s Instruinent Was Filed For ������L' . .� ` <br /> Record At 9-00�` - v <br /> on � And gI1�R���� PAGE �2 <br /> NOV 27' i98� ORDINANCE NO. � � <br /> Recorded in Dook 2328Pa�e_72 <br /> ��'.�..�r. �y��; <br /> Fee 1��Rehrder oF Dceds <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> - 739 & 790 EAST MOUND ROAD - <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under <br /> oath of Mound Road Christian Church and others requesting that <br /> there be annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot One (1) in <br /> Block One (1) of Elm Park, as per Plat recorded in Book <br /> 335 , Page 57 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of <br /> Macon County, thence West 310 feet; thence South 280 <br /> feet; thence East to the Southeast corner of said Lot 1 ; <br /> thence Northerly 280 . 1 feet along the East line of said <br /> Lot 1 to the point of beginning, EXCEPT the East 200 <br /> feet thereof. <br /> AND <br /> Lot Fifteen (15) of Virginia Third Addition, as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book 801 Page 161 of the records in the <br /> Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 51$ of <br /> the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby, approved. <br />
