' ' ORDINANCE N0. D �� <br /> � i ORDINANCE EXTENDING DEDUCTION OF MUNICIPAL <br /> RETAILER' S OCCUPATION TAX WITAIN ENTERPRISE ZONE <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1 . That Ordinance No. 82-122 passed the 29th day of <br /> December , 1982 , and subsequently amended , be and the same is <br /> hereby, further amended at Sections 7 and 8 thereof so that as so <br /> amended said sections provide as follows : <br />; Section 7 . That commencing the first day of the <br /> calendar month next following tre month in which said <br /> zone is certified aad continuing through June 30, <br /> 1�91 , each retailex whose place of business i� within <br /> the corporate limits of the City is authorized to <br />' claim a deduction of the Municipal Retailer' s <br />� O�cupation Tax of the City based upon the sale of <br />, building materials to be incorporated into real <br /> estate within the zone by remodeling, rehabilitation <br /> or new construction. <br /> Section 8 . That after June 30, 1991 , the <br /> C�uncil shall review the necessity, desirability and <br /> fiscal impact of such deductions and may by ordinance <br />' continue or discontinue the same whichever appears to <br /> be in the better interest of the general health , <br /> safety and welfare of the City. <br />', Section 2. That except as amended herebq, t�e provisions of <br /> Ordinance No. 82-122, as previously amended as aforesaid , shall <br /> be, and remain, in full force and effect and shall apply to the <br /> premises therein described. <br /> Section 3 .
