89-42 AMENDING CITY CODE - LICENSES AND PERMITS

� � ORDINANCE N0. _��=�a�- ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE - LICENSES AND PERMITS - BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the City Code of the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended by substituting the phrase "Finance Department" for either the phrase "City Clerk" or the word "Clerk" in the following chapters and sections thereof wherever the latter phrase or word appear therein: Chapter - Section (s) Chapter - Section (s) 26 8 60 4 .B. ; 8; 9 ; 34 23 .D. ; 50 10 .A. ; 10 .B. ; 37 4 11; 13; 15; 22; 44 7 23 47 10 (f) ; 21 .A. ; 21 .B. ; 61 4 .B. ; 5; 6 ; 8; 22 .A. ; 22 .B. 9; 11 ; 18 53 6 62 2 56 26; 28; 29; 30; 32; 63 8 ; 9 38; 41 66 47; 48 (a) ; 58 4 48 (1) 59 4 67 11 Section 2 . That said Code be, and the same is hereby, further modified and amended at Sections 2, 3 and 17 of Chapter , 50 thereof by substituting the phrase "City Clerk or Finance Department, as the case may be" for the phrase "City Clerk" wherever the latter phrase appears therein. Section 3 . That said Code be, and the same is hereby, further modified and amended by substituting the phrase "to the Finance Department" for either the phrase "as required by this Code" or the phrase "as provided in this Code" in the following chapters and sections thereof wherever the latter appear therein: Chapter - Section 54 2 57 2 � 59 3 Section 4 . That said Code be, and the same is hereby, further modified and amended by substituting the phrase "Finance Department" for the phrase "City Clerk" , and by substituting the word "Department" for the word "Clerk" wherever the latter word is not immediately preceded by the word "City" , in the following chapters and sections thereof wherever the words and phrases to be substituted for appear therein:
