� <br /> � <br /> 4 <br /> '.�1r�,���� , <br /> . , �.�"��t <br /> ORDINANCE NO. � / -" � c� <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> - ADULT USES - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 5th day of January, 1989 , upon due notice, <br /> the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing on the <br /> petition of David A. Clark, Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Decatur, to amend the Zoning Ordinance regarding <br /> adult uses; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that <br /> the prayer of said petition be granted and that said Zoning <br /> Ordinance be amended and modified as proposed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That the report and recommendation of the <br /> Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, <br /> received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2 . That Ordinance No. 3512, as amended, the Zoning <br /> Ordinance, be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended at <br /> Section XVI (B) thereof by adding thereto subsection 13 such that <br /> subsection 13 thereof shall provide as follows: <br /> "13 . Adult entertainment use, when located at least 500 <br /> feet from any R residence district, school, mobile home <br /> park, or public park, and at least 1 ,000 feet from <br /> another adult entertainment use. Adult entertainment <br /> uses shall not require prior approval of the City <br /> Council as elsewhere required in this Section. " <br /> Section 3 . That said Zoning Ordinance be, and the same is , <br /> hereby, further modified and amended by deleting therefrom and <br /> repealing Section XXI (A) (1) (x) thereof. <br />
