Lc�g requesting zhat ihere be annexed to the <br /> City territory descritred as: <br /> Lot Two (2) of Ellendale Addition as per Plat recorded <br /> in Book 646 Page 279 of the records in the Recorder ' s <br /> ` <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois; and , <br /> WhlEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 51% of <br />' the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action ror annexation <br /> has been given as required . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED HY THE CDUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby, approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along ' <br /> with ail parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed , if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur , Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Secticn 3.
