(� �� `7 � <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 49 - <br /> - CLASS H LICENSES - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That Chapter 49 of the City Code of the City of <br /> Decatur , Illinois , be, and the same is here6y, modified and <br /> amended at Section 4 thereof by adding thereto the following <br /> verbiage, said verbiage to immediately follow that paragraph <br /> beginning "Class G" , and said verbiage to provide as follows: <br /> "Class H, under which alcoholic liquor may be sold only <br /> for consumption on the licensed premises, and also under <br /> which the licensed premises may only be a hotel having <br /> not fewer than five (5) nor more than fifteen ( 15) rooms <br /> used for sleeping accommodation of guests, and kitchen <br /> and dining room facilities for serving meals to guests <br /> and the public . A Class H license shall be personal to <br /> the licensee and exclusively limited to the premises, <br /> and such license may be transferred to another applicant <br /> for such license only after the Local Liquor Control <br /> Commissioner finds that such new licensee will operate <br /> an establishment of like kind and character as that <br /> which was previously licensed . " <br /> Section 2. That Chapter 49 of said City Code be, and the <br /> same is hereby, further modified and amended at Section 10 <br /> thereof so that as so modified and amended the last sentence <br /> thereof shall now provide as follows, otherwise to be unchanged <br /> by the provisions hereof: <br /> " Issuance of Class E licenses is limited to 2 and of <br /> Classes F and H to 1 . " <br /> � Section 3. That Chapter 49 of said City Code be, and the <br /> same is hereby , further modified and amended at Section 17 <br /> thereof so that as so modified and amended said Section 17 <br /> provides as follows: <br /> "No person shall sell , deliver or consume alcoholic <br /> liquor , and no licensee shall permit the same, on or in <br /> any premises licensed hereunder with a Class A, B, C, D, <br /> E, F or G license between 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M, on <br /> Mondays through Saturdays or between 2:00 A.M. and 10:00 <br /> A.M. on Sundays, except that alcoholic liquor may be <br /> sold or consumed until 3:00 A.M. on January lst of each <br /> year . No person shall sell , deliver or consume <br />
