. � <br /> ��C������ <br /> ORDINANCE NO. gg-29 <br /> ORDINANCE REGARDING PAY <br /> - POLICE AND GENERAL SERVICES - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l. That effective May 1, 1988 , and subject to the <br /> applicable provisions of existing ordinance or administrative <br /> order not inconsistent herewith, those positions assigned by <br /> ordinance or administrative order to pay grades or ranges in the <br /> police or general service be, and they are hereby, authorized to <br /> have attached thereto, and employees occupying said positions on <br /> May l, 1988 , be, and they are hereby, authorized to be paid, the <br /> respective salary or wage set out for each such grade or range as <br /> shown for the police service on Exhibit A, and for the general <br /> service on Exhibit B, said Exhibits A and B being attached hereto <br /> and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 2 . That effective May 1, 1988 , the salary and wage <br /> set out in Exhibit A applicable to police patrol officers shall <br /> be increased by 10% for such officers who are assigned to plain <br /> clothes duty in the Investigations Bureau by order of the Chief <br /> of Police for the period during which said officers are so <br /> assigned. <br /> Section 3 . Effective May 1 , 1988 , those employees in the <br /> police service whose regularly scheduled hours of duty are during <br /> the second shift shall receive $ . 05 per hour in addition to the <br /> wage set on in Exhibit �, <br /> Section 4 .
