Al1en, City Manager
RE: Ordinance Regarding Pay Management Services
An ordinance regarding pay for the management service has
been placed on the agenda for Monday, April 4 .
I am recommending that all pay grades be adjusted by 3
percent effective May 1, 1988.
Salary increases for management personnel will be based on
their performance evaluations . Ratings depend strongly on
employees ' performance in achieving personal and departmental
goals which were in effect for FY1987/88 (rating forms attached) .
Salary increases will range from 0% for those receivi:g a
rating of "Needs Improvement" to 3 .5% for those receiving a
rating of "Exceeds Standards . " Those receiving a "Meets
Standards" rating will receive a 3% increase .
I am not recommending any improvements in benefits for
personnel.
I recommend your approval of this ordinance.
Attachments ( 2 )
cc: Charles Phillips
Dan Sommerfeldt
