� M <br /> . � <br /> ►�1�����i��' <br /> ORDINANCE N0. � � � � � <br /> ORDINANCE ABATING LEVY <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS <br /> SERIES OF DECEMBER, 1982 <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 82-117 passed and approved <br /> December 7, 1982 , the Council caused general obligation bonds <br /> of the City to be issued and did levy therein certain sums to <br /> pay the principal of and interest on said bonds ; and , <br /> WHEREAS, funds other than those raised by general <br /> taxation have or will become available to timely pay such _ <br /> principal and interest as the same become due in calendar 1989 . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the levy for the year 1987 imposed by <br /> the provisions of Ordinance No . 82-117 in the amount of <br /> $449 , 237 . 50 be , and the same is hereby, abated . <br />' Section 2 . The the County Clerk of the County of Macon, <br /> Illinois , be , and he is hereb directed to refrai <br /> Y, n from <br /> extending said levy for said year . <br /> Section 3 . That the City Treasurer be , and he is hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to timely pay said principal and <br /> interest from other funds of the City in the amount aforesaid <br /> which said funds are hereby appropriated for said purpose . <br /> Section 4 .
