, + ORDINANCE �f0. 87-145 ORDINANCE AMENDING LITY CODE - CHAPTER bb - -- FEES FOR BOAT LICENSES AND DOCK PERMITS - BE IT ORDAINED HY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the City Code of the City of Decatur , Illinois, b2, and it is hereby amended at Section 17.3 of Ghapter bb thereof so that said Section as so amended shall provide a� follaws: 17.3 Application for license shall be accompanied by a fee as follows for each boat or craft : Row boats, canoes, kayaks and other craft propelled by muscle power �12.50 Sail Hoats 22.50 Motor 8oats: � 1-50 horsepower 22.50 51-100 harsepower 25.00 � 141-150 horsepower 3O ,pp 151-200 horseFower 'a2.50 Over 200 horsepower 36.00 The horsepower of an engine is that determined by tNe manufacturer thereof . In case a boat or craft is so constructed or rigged to be oropelled by more than one type or size of propulsion, the fee to be paid shali be the higher fee specified herein for the several sizes or types of propulsion. Section 2. That said Chapter of said Code be , and it is hereby , further amended at Section 17.6 thereof so that said Section as so amended shali provide as follows: 17 .b A boat or craft mav be kept �r used on or in the Lake ��ithout registration if the same is owned by a bcat dealer licensed by the State and is used for business purposes and said dealer obtains a City license upon application accompanied by a fee of 360 for not �o exceed four units . Section 3. That the City Co�e of the Ci 'ty of Decatur , Iilinois , be , and it is hereby amanded at Section 45. ; 1i of Chapter 66 thereof so that �aid Section as so amended s�all provide as follows :
