; � : � �00�2264 f���E 787 $ �� <br /> • � 1249631 State of Itlinois SS ��rtiifyy <br /> ' Maton County <br /> ' That This I 10r 30 �sFiled For <br /> Retord At And <br /> �n <br /> ORDINANCE NO. $7-141 �� . �� 2g: ��$7 <br /> ;`�������. �°. <br /> Recorded i n BooIQ2�Page 7�87 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY ��..� Y a,.�+�yOP/, <br /> 697 DEVONSHIRE ROAD « <br /> Fee� Recorder af Deeds <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under <br /> oath of Fred Morse requesting that there be annexed to the City <br /> territory described as : <br /> North 1/2 of Lot Twenty ( 20 ) of McCaleb Subdivision as <br /> per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 130 of the records <br /> in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois . <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such terr�tory and by at least 510 of <br /> the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That said petition and the requ�st thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br />
