� � , <br /> . . <br /> NOW THEREFORE Be It Ordained by the Council of the City <br /> of Decatur , Macon County, Illinois, in the exercise of its home <br /> rule powers, as follows: <br /> Section 1. Definitions <br /> In addition to such other words and terms used and <br /> defined in this Ordinance, the following words and terms used in <br /> this Ordinance shall have the following meanings, unless, in <br /> either case, the context or use clearly indicates another or dif- <br /> ferent meaning is intended: <br /> "Bond" or "Bonds" means one or more, as applicable, of <br /> the $2,000, 000 Corporate Purpose Bonds, Series 1987, authorized <br /> to be issued by this Ordinance. <br /> "Bond Register" means th� books ke�t by the City as the <br /> Bond Registrar to evidence the registration and transfer of the <br /> Bonds. <br /> "Bond Registrar" means the City Treasurer of the City, <br /> or a successor thereto or a successor designated as bond <br /> registrar hereunder . <br /> "City" means the City of Decatur, Macon County, <br /> Illinois. <br /> "Code" means the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as <br /> amended. <br /> "Council" means the Council of the City. <br /> "Debt Service Fund" means the Debt Service Fund estab- <br /> lished and defined in Section 11 of this Ordinance. <br /> -3- <br />
