87-134 ADOPTING MECHANICAL CODE AND REGULATING MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND CERTAIN ACTIVITIES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH

Section 5. Whenever in said Code reference is made to the board of appeals such shall be taken to mean and shall be construed to refer to the Construction and Housing Board of Appeals of the City. Section 6 . The following numbered sections in said Code are hereby modified and amended as herein indicated: ( a) M-110. 6 by substituting the words "City Manager" in lieu of the words "code official" therein. (b ) M-113 . 1 by substituting the words "Section 9 of the Mechanical Ordinance" in lieu of "Section M-114 .0" therein. ( c ) M-121. 1 by adding the word "substantially" between the words "reading" and "as" . ( d ) M-1300 . 1 by substituting a comma for the last period therein and by adding after such comma "or self contained air conditioner units of a rated heat removal capacity of 20 , 000 b. t .u. or less mounted in window opening and so located that pedestrian traffic will not pass below the same" . Section 8. It shall be unlawful to do mechanical work in the City unless and until permit for the same has been obtained when required by and issued in accordance with the provisions of the Building Code and Building Ordinance. Section 9 .
