Seeley and others that there be annexed to tl�e <br /> City territory described as : <br /> Beginning at a point 619 .94 feet East of the Southwest <br /> corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28 , Township <br /> 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P .M. thence East <br /> 177 . 91 feet ; thence North 281. 6 feet ; thence West <br /> 177 .91 feet ; thence South 281. 6 feet to the place of <br /> beginning. AND ALSO, <br /> The East 208 . 7 feet of the South 417 . 4 feet of the West <br /> Thirty ( 3d ) acres of the Southwest Quarter ( SW1/4 ) of <br /> the Southeast Quarter ( SEl/4 ) of Section Twenty-eight <br /> ( 28 } Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North, Range Two ( 2 ) East of <br /> the Third Principal Meridian, said tract being more <br /> particularly described as follows : Beginning at a <br /> point 797 .85 feet East of the Southwest corner of the <br /> Southeast Quarter ( SEl/4 ) of said Section Twenty-eight <br /> ( 28 ) thence North 417 . 4 feet , thence East 208. 7 feet , <br /> thence South 417 .4 feet , thence West 208 . 7 feet to the <br /> place of beginning. <br /> WHEREAS , it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 510 of <br /> the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby approved. <br />
