ORDINANCE N0. � � - 9� Mrc�t�u AN ORDINANCE VACATING A STREET - BRENNAMAN ROAD - WHEREAS, a request has been received from Archer-Daniels- Midland Company, Jessie C. Rowe and Mary Frances Querrey, the owners of all property abutting thereon, requesting vacation of a certain street in the City of Decatur, Illinois , commonly known as Brennaman Road said street being more particularly described as : All of the Public Right of Way, 50 feet in width, called Brennaman Road (Also known as Gun Club Road} from the East line of Brush College Road Easterly to a point 1, 691. 04 feet East of the East line of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) of Section 5 , Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, said Right of Way more particularly described as follows : A 50 foot Right of Way strip being 25 feet on each side of the following described centerline: Beginning at a point on the East Right of Way line of Brush College Road, said point being �0 .00 feet East of and 1, 632 . 57 feet South of the Northwest Corner of Section 5 , T16N, R3E, 3rd P.M. ; thence deflecting at an angle to the left of 95°57 ' 37" a distance of 1, 668 .00 feet to a point; thence deflecting at an angle to the left of 15°21' S0" a distance of 968. 95 feet to a point on the East line of the Northwest Quarter (NWl/4 ) of said Section 5 , thence deflecting at an angle to the right of 20°17 ' 55" a distance of 1, 469 . 54 feet to the termination point of the vacated right of way ' containing 204 , 866 square feet ( 4 .70 acres ) more or less . WHEREAS, said street is no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the owners of property abutting thereon and the public interest will be subserved by vacating said street and the public will be relieved from any further burden or responsibility for opening, improving or maintaining said street . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS:
