Reynolds <br /> � Dear Mr. McQueen: <br /> This letter is written to request the City Council <br /> of Decatur, Illinois to permit 1.ocation of a commodity scrag <br /> operation and a facility for the experimental production <br /> of fertilizer on the premises situated at 510 East Wabash <br /> Avenue, Decatur, Illinois. The iegal description of the <br /> property is attached. The premises are the subject of a <br /> petition pending before the Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> as Calendar No. 87-20. That petition seeks to rezone the <br /> premises from M-1 to M-2 (Heavy Industrial District ) . <br /> The commodity scrap processing and experimental pra- <br /> duction activities will be conducted wholly within the <br /> building situated on the premises, as required by Section <br /> XVI of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur, Decatur, <br /> Illinois. Attached is a plot plan of the premises and also <br /> a drawing on which are outlined in red the buildings used <br /> for the activities described above. The experimental pro- <br /> duction of .fertilizer will be performed solely in Building <br /> No. 10. AlI other buildings will be used for commodity � ' <br /> scrap processing. <br /> Gerald B.
