MtCRpftLi�'p <br /> ORDINANCE N0. �� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> - 727 EAST MOUND ROAD - <br /> WHEREAS , there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith , the petition under <br /> oath of Mary M. Nagy and George Nagy requesting that there be <br /> annexed to the City territory described as : <br /> The West 90 feet of the East 400 feet of Lot One (1) , <br /> Block One (1) in Elm Park , as per Plat recorded in Book <br /> 335 page 56 of the records in the Recorder ' s Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois ; and, <br /> WHEREAS , it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of <br /> the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> cit villa e or incor orated town or other munici alit ; and <br /> Y� g P P Y + <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l . That said petition and the request thereof be , <br /> and the same are hereby approved . <br /> Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described , along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretof ore annexed , if any, be , and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur , Illinois , a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br />
