That the request for approval of <br /> appointments by the Mayor of Ronald M. Lappi , Jr, as City <br /> Treasurer and Phyllis E . Sands as City Clerk be received and <br /> placed on file. <br /> Section 2 . That said request be , and the same is <br /> hereby, approved, and said persons be , and they are hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to be appoint.ed to said respective <br /> offices for the term of four years commencing May 1 , 1987 , <br /> and continuing to April 30 , 1991 , or until their respective <br /> successors are appointed and qualified. <br /> Section 3 .
