Keck and Paul A. Smith requesting that there be <br /> annexed to the City territory described as : <br /> Lot Forty (40) of McCaleb Addition as per Plat recorded <br /> in Book 300 Page 130 of the records in the Recorder ' s <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> � WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> '� record of all land within such territory and by at Ieast 51� of <br /> the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any �,I <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with alI parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> �4 � <br /> � <br /> Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br />
