� ORDINANCE N0. �a� ��4fILM�D ORDINANCE CLOSING PORTIONS OF STREETS AND ESTABLISHING ONE WAY STREETS - EAST MACON STREET - - SOUTH WATER STREET - BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That when appropriate signs , barricades , fences or other devices giving notice thereof are erected thereat , or until the further order of the Council , the north one-half of East Macon Street from the east right of way line of South Water Street to the west right of way line of South Franklin Street be , and the same is hereby, closed to pedestrain and vehicular traffic . Section 2 . That when appropriate signs , barricades , fences or other devices giving notice thereof are erected thereat , or until the further order of the Council , the east one-half of South Water Street from the south right of way line of Washington Street to the north right of way line of East Macon Street be , and the same is hereby, closed to pedestrain and vehicular traffic . Section 3 . That the Director of Public Works be , and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause said portions of said streets to be so closed. Section 4 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof , East Macon Street between South Water Street and South Franklin Street be , and the same is hereby, established as a one-way street for eastbound traffic only and all vehicles traveling on said street shall travel east . Section 5 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof , South Water Street between Washington Street and East Macon Street be , and the same is hereby, established as a one-way street for southbound traffic only, and all vehicles traveling on said street shall travel south. Section 6 . That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall , upon conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1 . 00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) for each offense.
