� <br /> ����1�.� <br /> ORDINANCE N0. � — O <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTE�t 5 - <br /> - ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER - <br /> - I-SEARCH COORDINATOR - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l . That Section 2 of Chapter 5 of the City Code of <br /> the City of Decatur be , and the same is hereby, modified and <br /> amended, so that as so modified and amended said section provides <br /> as follows : <br /> "2 . The City Manager shall have the power and <br /> authority to appoint and remove at will the assistant <br /> city manager, all chiefs and directors of departments , <br /> assistant chiefs and assistant or deputy directors of <br /> departments , fire marshals , battalion chiefs , police <br /> cadets , police personnel above the rank of sergeant , <br /> administrative assistants , superintendents of building <br /> inspections and of streets and sewers , heads of <br /> divisions , one secretary of the City Manager and one <br /> of each department director , members of the legal <br /> department , coordinators of the office on aging, <br /> coordinators of community programs , coordinators of <br /> mass transit , community renewal coordinator, <br /> supervisors of accounting, auditors , superintendent of <br /> vehicle maintenance , chief planners , I-Search <br /> coordinator, city engineers , and temporary and <br /> seasonal employees . " <br /> Section 2 .
