Fischer, Jr. and others requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as : The East 200 feet of the following described tract : Beginning at a point 185 feet North of the Southeast Corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3 Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , thence running West 27 rods and 12 feet, thence North 97 feet , thence East 27 rods and 12 feet, thence South along the East line of said Half Quarter Section, 97 feet to the place of beginning; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous r_o the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation nas been given as required. 1�iOW, THEccEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CGUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereot be, and the same are hereby approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts ot public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of t:�e City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
