Mr. Robert Memz ies
May 28 , 1986
Page Two
The construction of this $5 .7 million medical office building and
ambulatory surgery center will also make a signif icant economic
contribution to the community. Its economic impact will begin
with the construction process. As an architectural, design and
development firm, American Medical Buildings contracts all
construction locally and uses local suppliers for materials. In
the completed building, 50 new jobs will be created in the
Decatur community. A summary of these new jobs is attached to
this letter.
To summarize ur progress on the project:
° Our worJking drawings are completed and construction is
planned for August of 1986 with construction lasting 12
months.
° Applications for zoning, variance and subdivision have been
submitted to the City of Decatur.
° Financing for the project has been arranged within the
corporate family of the Hospital Sisters Health System of
Springf ield, Illinois.
We thank you for your assistance in making an application for
amendment to the Decatur Enterprise Zone.
