O `� � <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> CHAPTER 49 <br /> - ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN FUBLIC PLACES - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 49 of the City Code of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois , be, and the same is hereby, modified and <br /> amended at Section 34 thereof so that as so amended said Section <br /> 34 shall provide as follows : <br /> 34 . ( 1) Alcoholic liquor shall not be consumed <br /> at anytime within the City at , in or on the following <br /> places : <br /> ( a) The right of way of any public <br /> highway, street or alley; <br /> (b) Central Park; <br /> (c ) Landmark Mall; <br /> (d) The Police Building and grounds ; <br /> (e ) The Street Division and Transit <br /> buildings , garages and grounds ; <br /> (f ) Either water treatment plant and <br /> grounds ; or any firehouse. <br /> ( 2 ) The Council may provide by ordinance for <br /> the consumption of alcoholic liquor, or the consumption <br /> of wine and beer only, and provide for the regulation <br /> of the manner of such consumption, for limited periods <br /> of time at , in or on any or all of , or any portion of, <br /> those places listed in section 34 ( 1 ) of this Chapter. <br /> i <br />
