t <br /> . � <br /> � .. <br /> af <br /> �11C�OFlLMED <br /> ORDIIVANCE NO. �o -"o� � <br /> AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> - LINCOLN SQUARE - <br /> WHEREAS , a Petition has been received from Lincoln Square, <br /> Ltd. , the owner of all property abutting thereon requesting II <br /> vacation by the City Council of a portion of right-of-way in the �, <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois , said portion being more particularly � <br /> described as : I <br /> Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 4 , of <br /> Block 4 of the Original Town of Decatur as recorded <br /> in Book A Page 1 of the records in the Recorder' s <br /> Office at Macon County, Illinois ; thence easterly <br /> along the north line of Lot 3, a distance of 20 . 5 <br /> feet; thence northerly along a straight line <br /> parallel to the east line of Lot 4 a distance of <br /> 21. 54 feet; thence westerly along a straight line <br /> parallel to the north line of Lot 3 , a distance of <br /> 11. 17 feet; thence northerly along a straight line <br /> parallel to the east line of Lot 4 , a distance of <br /> 58 . 26 feet; thence westerly along a straight line a <br /> distance of 9 . 33 feet to the Northeast corner of <br /> said Lot 4 ; thence southerly along the east line of <br /> Lot 4 a distance of 79 . 8 feet more or less to the <br /> point of beginning, containing 985 square feet more <br /> or less; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said portion of right-of-way is no longer useful to <br /> the public or to the City or to the owners of property abutting <br /> thereon; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating <br /> said portion of right-of-way and the public will be relieved from <br /> any further burden or responsibility for maintaining said portion <br /> of right-of-way. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.
