� ,� � , -_-- <br /> � <br /> �"'�1��� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. g — �o <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> 2890 NORTH OAKLAND <br /> bn1HEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> sa.id Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under <br /> oath of Land of Lincoln Credit Union requesting that there be <br /> annexed to the City territory described as : <br /> Lot Five (5 ) of Well's Subdivision as per Plat recorded <br /> in Book 958 Page 47 of the records in the Recorder' s <br /> Office caf Macan County; Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it apgears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of aZi land within such territory and that no electors <br /> resic�e therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City <br /> and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or <br /> inearpor�ted town or other municipality; and, <br /> GJHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> h�s heen given as required. <br /> NQW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'^Y OF <br /> DECATUR, FLLINOIS: <br /> Section I.. That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the sanee are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabov� Jescribed, along <br /> with alI parts of public highways therein o� nzxt and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof . <br />
