Page 613 ,��.w�.,_-1,,, ° ��►e�'��"'f��oder of Des�!� AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY SOUTH OF SUNSET AVENUE WHEREAS , there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Cierk presented to the Council herewith, tY:e petition under oath of Sanitary District of Decatur, Illir.�is , requesting that there be annexed to the City ter�itory described as : The Southwest Quarter of tne Southwest Quarter of Section Sixteen { 16 ) Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , lying South of University Place Eighth and Tenth Additions and except Sunset Avenue lst Addition; and, WHEREAS, it appEars said petition is sigr_ed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, vill�ge ar i�corporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action for ann��ation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE , BE I'^ ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby approved. Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent th�reto not heretoiore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, a�nexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation . Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof .
