Bainfield requesting that there be annExed Lo <br /> the City territory described as : <br /> The South One Half (S 1/2 ) of Lot Thirty-Six ( 36 ) of <br /> Virginia Fourth Addition as per Plat recorded in <br /> Book 982 Page 62 of the records in the Recorder's. <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois ; and, <br /> WHEREAS , it appears said petition is signed by the �wners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 51% of <br /> the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporati�n. <br /> 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached h�reto <br /> and rnade a part hereof . <br />
