WHEREAS , a petition has been received from Pershing Mobile Home Sales , Inc . , the owner of the lot hereinafter mentioned requesting the vacation of a portion of an easement over ansi along the southerly portion of said lot , said portion of said easem.ent being more particularly described as follows : The East 155 feet of the South 5 feet of Lot 4 of Weirich' s Subdivision to the City of Decatur, Illinois , as per Plat recorded in Book 958 Page 96 of the records in the Recorder ' s Office of Macon County, Illinois ; and , WHEREAS , there are no existing utilities in place on said easement except an underground line of Illinois Bell Telephone Company which line will be relocated at the expense of Petitioner ; and , WHEREAS , the Department of Community Development and the Department of Public Worics have recommended that the prayer of said Petition be granted and said portioz o= said easement be vacated as requested; and , WHEREAS, said portion of said easement is no longer useful to the public or to the City and the public interest will be subserved by vacating the same . NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section l . That the above described portion of � easement be , and the same is hereby, vacated , the same being ' shown on the plat hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof .
