Lappi , Jr . , Director of Finance <br /> Sub�ect : Annual Tax Levy Ordinance <br /> Attached is the Annual Property Tax Levy Ordinance for <br /> 1985 to be collected in fiscal year 1986-87 . It has been <br /> prepared in accordance with the report submitted to the City <br /> Council on August 7 , 1985 and discussed extensively at the <br /> study session on August 12 , 1985 . <br /> The proposed levy in the amount of $4 , 337 ,091 excludes <br /> bond and interest levies . A portion of the various bond and <br /> interest levies will be abated at a later date prior to the <br /> extension of the levy by the County Clerk. This years Levy <br /> Ordinance is down 2 .1� from the prior years ordinance , and up <br /> l . 11q from the prior years extended levy for calculating the <br /> "Trust in Taxation" change . <br /> If you have any questions regarding the proposed Levy <br /> Ordinance please give me a call . I will be present at the <br /> meeting on August 19 , 1985 , when this item should come before <br /> the City Council for formal action. <br /> Thank you . <br />
