' ORDINANCE N0. p 5_5� �`�' �� -�2:� �o�o� AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS NORTH WARREN STREET EAST COURT DRIVE WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petitions under oath of Dorothy Duquenne, Brenda Rhodes , and others requesting that there be annexed to che City territory described as : Lots Four ( 4 ) , Nine ( 9 ) , Sixteen ( 16 ) , Seventeen { 17 ) and Eighteen ( 18 ) of Linden Lea, an addition to the City of Decatur, as per Plat recorded in Book 802 Page 35 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , AND Lot Fourteen ( 14 ) and the South 2 feet of Lot Thirteen ( 13 ) of John �A. Constant Subdivision as per Plat recorded in Book 982 Page 3 of the records in the Recorder' s � Offi�e of Macon County, . Illinois ; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of the electors residing therein, and that said territor3 is contiguous to the Cit;� and not within tne corporate limi�s of any City, Village or incorForated town or other :nunicipality; and, � WHEREAS, notice of intent�on to take action for � annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS ; Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2 . That said terri�ory hereiaabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretorore annexed, if any, be , and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , 3 munic�pal corporation.
