. , <br /> a � <br /> M�����. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. � J —�L <br /> ORDINANCE GRANTING PERMIT TO MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY <br /> TO II`ISTALL AND MAINTAIN COMMUNICATION CABLE <br /> IN CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS <br /> WHEREAS, Millikin University has purchased and is installing <br /> a communication system at its campus and other nearby buildings ; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS , it is necessary or desirable that cable between <br /> said buildings cross certain intervening streets and extend along <br /> certain alleys of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, plans for said system entitled Illinois <br /> Consolidated Business System, PABX Network, Millikin Universi-ty, <br /> Decatur, Illinois , Project No. 0475 , dated June 3, 1985 , have <br /> been prepared and presented to the Council along with a petition <br /> of the University for a permit for the installation of sucn cable <br /> under the streets and alleys as shown thereon. <br /> ?VOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF <br /> BECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. That the petition and plans , aforesaid, be, ard <br /> the sa:ne are hereby, received and placed on file . <br /> Section 2 . That said petitioner be , and it is hereby, until <br /> the Turther order of the Council, permitted to ca�:s� the <br /> installation oi said cable in and under the streets and alleys of <br /> the City as shown by and in accordance with said plans and <br /> thereafter to maintain the same therein. <br /> 5ection 3 .
